Phyza Jameel

Working for UNESCO Islamabad office as Communication and Information Expert, Phyza Jameel is working in Pakistan, with the mandate; to contribute towards ” freedom of expression” and ” access to information”. issues. Currently she is implementing a program on “Safety of Journalists and Impunity issues in Pakistan” as part of UN Action Plan. She had been a Broadcast journalist in her earlier life, and has studied in National College of Arts, Stanford University and Central European University.

Mushahid Hussain Sayed

Mushahid Hussain Sayed has the distinction of becoming the youngest editor of a national English daily  The Muslim  (now defunct). He achieved this honor at the age of 29 in 1982. As a specialist on international political and strategic issues, he has lectured widely and his articles have been published in various national and international publications including  The New York Times ,  The Washington Post ,  International Herald Tribune , and  Middle East International . Javed Chaudhry

Javed Chaudhry was born in a village in the district of Gujrat, Pakistan. He got his degree of journalism from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. He has two sons and currently resides in Shahzad Town, Islamabad.  Javed Chaudhry is one of the leading columnists of Pakistan. He writes regular columns for the Urdu newspaper Daily Express twice or thrice a week, covering topics ranging from social issues to politics. Career He started his career in 1991. He worked at Daily Ummat and Daily Khabrain before joining Daily Jang in 1997. During his association with Daily Jang (1997-2006) he was the most read Urdu columnist of Pakistan.
